| Southern Star Cattle is located in a small rural community in East Texas where you will find Red Angus Cattle and wonderful Miniature Australian Shepherds. Our love for Red Angus cattle started in 1994 when we purchased 2 Red Angus show heifers. Through the years we have kept our operation small and have focused more on quality not quantity. All of the breeding in our cattle operations is done through Artificial Insemination. Sires used include but are not limited to: Make My Day 981, Grand Canyon, Cherokee Canyon, Mr Beef 805, JR 107, Glacier Chateau, Major League, Mlk Crk Cub 722, and the most recent additions Dakota Copper and Advancer 9088. After having Heelers, and Border Collies our love shifted to the Miniature Australian Shepherds in 2005. They brought so much joy to our lives, we decided to raise a litter to share with our friends.
